**Updated Photo:
I chose earthly, muted tones for my Collagraph because I wanted to convey the misty, muted colours of late Autumn turning to Winter. I wanted lot's of grey and areas of white to signify the mist and the frost bursting into the landscape. I intentionally used black for the raised elements - the long spaghetti and matches. I wanted a starkness against the softness to show the bare trees and fence lines which stand out so much more this time of year. The final print give a sense of chilliness and baroness, which is the look I was going for.
The spaghetti going a bit wavy turned out to my advantage in the end because I think it adds more interesting lines instead of poker straight.
Overall I am really pleased with how these prints turned out and how they reflected the mood I was aiming for.
